Harbour at dusk — Tideknot benefits

What Sets Us Apart

The value you get from learning with Tideknot

Our approach is shaped by what participants actually need — not by what's simplest to deliver or most profitable to package.

Core Advantages

What you can count on with Tideknot

Impartial stance

No commercial relationships with product providers. You receive education, not a sales pitch disguised as advice.

Singapore-grounded content

CPF structures, SRS accounts, HDB considerations, and local regulatory context — content aligned with where you actually live and work.

Small cohort sizes

8–12 participants per cohort. Enough diversity for meaningful discussion, small enough for every question to matter.

Structured progression

Three programmes that build logically on each other — from foundational awareness to long-term architecture. Each level stands alone, or as part of a journey.

Tangible deliverables

Every programme concludes with materials you can use after the sessions end — action plans, simulation tools, planning workbooks, and follow-up consultations.

Designed for busy schedules

Sessions are structured, bounded, and predictable — one session per week, with clear preparation expectations that respect your working life.

In More Detail

Five things that shape how we work

Facilitators with real-world backgrounds

The people who teach at Tideknot have worked in corporate finance, wealth management, and financial planning — not just studied it. This shapes how they explain concepts and the kinds of examples they reach for. Theory is always anchored in something that has actually happened.

  • Backgrounds in institutional finance and wealth management
  • Adult education credentials across the team
  • Annual competency review for all facilitators

Curriculum built around how adults learn

Adult learners retain concepts when they can apply them to their own situations. Tideknot sessions are structured around scenario analysis, group discussion, and direct application — not lectures followed by passive note-taking. The goal is a shift in thinking, not the accumulation of slide content.

  • Case studies adapted to Singapore life stages
  • Group exercises with real-world financial scenarios
  • Worksheets participants keep and use after sessions

Support that continues beyond the final session

Tideknot does not disappear once a programme concludes. The Lifetime Financial Architecture track includes a 6-month follow-up session. All participants can contact facilitators with clarifying questions after their programme ends. We're building long-term relationships, not transactional interactions.

  • Post-programme facilitator access for clarifying questions
  • 6-month follow-up included in Lifetime Architecture track
  • Updated resource packs when regulatory changes occur

Transparent, all-inclusive pricing

SGD 270 for the Financial Awareness Workshop. SGD 920 for Applied Investment Thinking. SGD 2,350 for the Lifetime Financial Architecture programme. These fees include all materials, access to simulation tools where applicable, and private advisory sessions where included. There are no supplementary charges.

  • All programme materials included in the fee
  • No upsells or add-on charges during the programme
  • Pricing communicated clearly before any commitment

Outcomes measured in decisions, not completion rates

A completed programme that doesn't change how you approach your finances is of limited value. Tideknot evaluates its work by whether participants leave with a clearer view of their situation, a workable plan, and the confidence to act on it. Follow-up sessions and participant feedback inform every iteration of our content.

  • Personalised action plans at the close of each programme
  • Content updated based on participant feedback each cohort
  • Financial blueprint produced for Lifetime Architecture participants

How We Compare

A different kind of financial learning

Typical providers

  • Generic content not calibrated to Singapore's financial structures
  • Large classes where individual questions go unanswered
  • Facilitators who transition directly from product sales
  • Content that ends when the session does — no follow-up support
  • Hidden fees for materials, simulations, or additional consultations
  • Measured by enrolment numbers rather than participant outcomes

The Tideknot approach

  • CPF, SRS, HDB, and local market context built into every programme
  • Maximum 12 participants per cohort, every question addressed
  • Facilitators with independent finance and education backgrounds
  • Follow-up sessions and ongoing facilitator access post-programme
  • All-inclusive fees — materials, tools, and consultations included
  • Success defined by participant clarity and decision-making capability

What Only We Offer

Distinctive features of the Tideknot model

Personal financial blueprints

Lifetime Architecture participants leave with a detailed, personalised financial plan — not a template. Two private advisory meetings are built into the programme to develop this collaboratively.

Portfolio simulation access

Applied Investment Thinking participants gain access to a portfolio simulation environment — a space to test allocation decisions without real-world stakes, and to observe how different conditions affect outcomes.

Structured follow-up at six months

Participants in the Lifetime Architecture track return at the six-month mark for a dedicated follow-up — to review what has changed, refine their plan, and address new questions that have emerged.

Zero product affiliation — always

This is a structural commitment, not a marketing claim. Tideknot does not take referral fees, has no distribution agreements, and will never recommend a specific financial product — only the frameworks to evaluate one.
